HT Opportunities!

We have two opportunities for practicing Healing Touch. The first is a one-time occasion; the other on-going. Please consider helping out! This is particularly opportune if you are a Level 4 student in need of some of your 100 treatments.

WOMEN’S RETREAT

Last year Barb Dahl and I were asked to provide Healing Touch treatments at a women’s retreat at Rainbow Lodge, near North Bend. Our interfaith friend, Reverend Catherine Fransson of Seattle First Baptist Church, is the facilitator of the retreat.

The treatments were much appreciated and very well received. Barb and I had a wonderful time in that beautiful setting.

Unfortunately, this year neither Barb nor I are available, but Catherine would still love to be able to offer Healing Touch to the retreat participants.

They have time set aside from 12:30 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 29th, 2011. It would be for chair sessions only, so no need to bring tables.

We are not paid for this service, but it is a good practice opportunity. If you are a Level 4, it’s a chance to chart a few more of your 100 sessions. If you are a new practitioner, we might be able to pair you with an experienced person so you could build your skills.

Please contact Christina Brugman at cebrug@aol.com or call 425.821.3605 to offer your services or ask questions. Please reply by September 15 so Catherine can plan her schedule.

PATIENT IN REHAB

Keela Marshall has been contacted by Healing Touch colleagues in Alaska to request Healing Touch support for a 24-year-old man who is in rehab at University Hospital. He fell off a mountain and sustained terrible injuries.

While in Alaska he was receiving Healing Touch treatments and would like to continue.

This would be an on-going project. Ideally, we can form a team of practitioners who can see him several times a week. Again, we will not be paid for this service but it is a chance to get in some practice or document a number of sessions.

Please contact Keela if you are willing to help. kwellness@earthlink.net or 206.545.7387. We would like to start as soon as possible.

Please note that CHRISTINA is still doing the HT Newsletter! I am only helping with the posting; because of that, it looks like it is coming from me, but really Christina is our Editor!
