Cool classes for HT Folk

(1)  Meditative, Mindful Zentangle:  EAST WEST BOOKS  March 15, 2017, 7-8:30pm  $40.00
Register with East West Books

Meditative, Mindful Zentangle is an easy-to learn, fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.  This art form contains elements of mindful meditation and focusing on the process, not the outcome.  The Zentangle method enables one to shift their focus, to stay in the present moment--one stroke at a time.  Through an increased awareness, one begins to see the world differently, even after one class.  Putting pen to paper in a ceremonial way, with no expectations, demands, or criticism, one enters a space of creative, relaxed focus, --mindful meditation.  The process begins and ends with gratitude--gratitude for your tools, for the opportunity to create and for the beautiful creation you make.  No previous art experience is necessary.  All supplies provided.  Optional: $5 supply fee if you wish to purchase the supplies.

(2)  Mandala:  The Journey of Mindful Awakening
