INTO THE MYSTERY
Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Kathy Sinnett gently transitioned to the other side. Kathy was an early instructor and elder in the Healing Touch Program in Michigan. Most of the folks in her part of Michigan who are in Healing Touch are in it because of her efforts. She created a large healing community which gave others the momentum to continue to expand the work.
At her passing, she was surrounded by all of her children as they sang to her. She had just been moved from ICU to the Hospice floor and was in her room about 10 minutes when she took her last breath. It was very peaceful. We have many memories and a lot of gratitude for her commitment and dedication to the work. She will be greatly missed

STEP UP!
We in the northwest have a reputation for waiting to the last minute to sign up for classes, events and conferences. This has become an increasing problem as facilities require deposits. They are lengthening the time period during which they will refund your deposit if you need to cancel. Some places require a deposit up-front at the time of booking
or months before the event. In the past, if you gave 48 hours notice or 2 weeks notice, you could get the deposit returned. Now, many places require 30 or 60 days notice of cancellation or they will not refund the deposit, or only part of it. So please if you are interested in an event, class, etc, sign up early!
BE A COORDINATOR
Dawn and Keela are looking for someone to help coordinate their classes. Coordinators are paid and training will be provided. This helps spread Healing Touch… and you make a little money. If you choose, you can repeat the classes without paying a fee. Computer skills are necessary! Contact Keela at kwellness@earthlink.net, or Dawn at dwarnaca@msn.com.
